Les, Seth and Ashley Gold, stars of the hit TV show, Hardcore Pawn, are teaming up with Expertise Events to meet and greet their Australian fans. This will be the first trip down under for the Gold family and they’ll be appearing exclusively at the 2013 Love Vintage Shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Seth will be in The Lounge area at the show: Saturday at 12 noon & 2.30pm; Sunday at 12 noon and 1.30pm.

The reality show, which is produced in the United States, appears on digital channel 7Mate in Australia. The program takes viewers behind the scenes of the immense American Jewelry & Loan, a family business owned by third-generation pawnbroker Les Gold. Working with Les are his son, Seth, and daughter, Ashley. As owners of Detroit’s biggest pawn shop, the Gold family has bought and sold things you can’t begin to imagine. They don’t bring in the experts – they are the experts!
The Gold’s regularly attend events in the US, where they help their fans find hidden treasures, by appraising their found items. Les has a keen eye for antiques and jewellery. Seth specializes in fine watches, electronics and sports memorabilia. And big sister Ashley has made it her mission to prove that diamonds (and coloured gemstones) really are a girl’s best friend.
Some of the most memorable pieces of nostalgia they have purchased and sold include a 1962 Bentley, a 1940’s Rolex Date and one of Les’s favorites, a 1950’s Seeburg Jukebox. Come along and meet with the Golds and hear the behind the scenes stories of one of the most successful shows on TV.
